Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope of This Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all paid educational services offered by Focus Prism Hub Ltd, including:

• 1-on-1 Research Curriculum & Technical Briefings (£240 per session)
• Small-Group Consensus Study Seminars (£480 per participant)
• Commissioned Custom Research Monographs & Dossiers (Custom quoted from £750)

All materials published in our public open-access library are free of charge and do not involve fees or refunds.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy for Live Sessions

We understand that unexpected academic, professional, or personal schedule conflicts arise. We provide generous rescheduling and cancellation options:

A. Notice Given More Than 48 Hours in Advance

• Rescheduling: You may reschedule your live briefing session to an alternate available date at no additional cost.
• Full Cancellation: If you choose to cancel entirely rather than reschedule, you are eligible for a 100% full refund of the session fee.

B. Notice Given Between 24 and 48 Hours in Advance

• Rescheduling: Rescheduling is granted free of charge.
• Cancellation: Eligible for a 50% partial refund to cover the lead researcher’s preparatory syllabus customization time.

C. Notice Given Less Than 24 Hours in Advance or No-Shows

• Cancellations requested with less than 24 hours’ notice, or instances where a participant fails to attend the scheduled video conference (“no-show”), are non-refundable.
• At our discretion, we may offer one opportunity to reschedule the session upon payment of a modest £40 administrative re-scheduling fee.

3. Policy for Commissioned Custom Research Monographs

For custom written technical dossiers and institutional curricula:

• Prior to Research Inception: Cancellations requested before our research team initiates literature review (within 48 hours of agreement) are eligible for a full refund minus any non-recoverable payment processing charges.
• Work Already Commenced: If work has commenced, refunds are calculated pro-rata based on completed research milestones, less an initial non-refundable deposit of 25% for preparatory scoping.
• Completed Dossier Delivery: Once the final annotated research dossier has been delivered in PDF/Markdown format, fees are non-refundable.

4. Technical Difficulties and Service Interruptions

If a live briefing cannot be completed due to technical interruptions on our side (such as infrastructure failure or researcher illness), we will promptly reschedule the session at your convenience or issue a 100% full refund immediately upon request.

5. Refund Request Process and Processing Timelines

To initiate a cancellation or refund request:

1. Send an email to hello@focusprismhub.click with the subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Name / Invoice Number]".
2. State the scheduled session date, reason for cancellation, and your preferred resolution (reschedule or refund).
3. Our Edinburgh office will process and confirm your request within 2 business days.
4. Approved refunds are issued via direct bank transfer to the originating account within 5 to 7 business days.
